Yeah, they will drift less than a 40-grain .204 V-Max. But the 40 V-Max from a .204 beats any of the 55-60 grain plastic tips from the .223 in wind-drift.

The other thing I like about the .204 is the trajectory is considerably flatter at typical PD ranges. This isn't supposed to matter if we're lasering the range and twisting turrets, but what I've noticed is on flat PD towns the range isn't as easily or accurately ranged, so the flatter trajectory still helps. Especially when there's a cluster of dogs within 20 yards or so of each other, as they often are.
