No, the 40-grain .224 plastic-tips aren't as good in the wind as the 40 .204's, but out to 250 or maybe 300 yards there isn't enough difference to notice. Beyond that the drift of the .204 is noticeably less.
Thank you JB for that succinct and informative answer. About what I expected, and since it would be used more on gophs than PDs the 200-300 Yard ranges are realistic.
