Best deal I ever got was a old Marlin 336 in a 35 Remington. It was made in the 1950's and belonged to my brother in law. I had bugged him about it several times and when he was moving I asked him about it again. He told me to put it in my truck. When I asked him what he wanted for it he said $100. It was his first real rifle but he didn't like it. I still have it and told him if I ever do decide to sell it I would let him know first in case he changed his mind about it.
