Not from a buddy, but: on ArmsList last Sat. appeared 2 Cooper rifles. One was a fancy-wood fluted-barrel M22 Varminter in .220 Swift with "Shot Show" engraved on the bolt, probably unfired, for $900. Also listed was a new .243 Model 54 Jackson Hunter for $1200. The ad disappeared the next day, and its not known if the "unregistered" poster from Oregon ever replied to requests, or if there was an actual lucky buyer.
