FN Winchester serial numbers and dates follow this pattern.
35 plus a letter is the Model 70 code My EW 264 is 35CZX My 257 R Supper Grade is 35CZY and My JOC Custom Tribute is 35CZY.
The next two letters are manufacture date:
Z-1
Y-2
X-3
W-4
V-5
T-6
R-7
P-8
N-9
M-0
So my EW was made in 2013
Super Grade was made in 2012
JOC was made in 2012
