Only her head and neck was sticking out. I had to take my boots off and wade out into that black mud and put a chain then a lead rope that I had on the mule and let the mule drag her out of the water. This was as far as he could drag her. This was the small 5x5 I shot this year in 2nd rifle season. The ravine is steeper than it looks. This was the cow I shot this year in ML season. A lot easier to get at and out. I sure don't mind when they fall in easy places. Last edited by saddlesore; 12/05/14. If God wanted you to walk and carry things on your back, He would not have invented stirrups and pack saddles
