I think that really depends on the shooter. It takes practice, but you can shoot very accurately with a red dot at longer ranges.


Depends on the size of the target, and the size of the dot. So long as the dot doesn't fully obscure the target, I agree with you.


Even if the dot cover the target hits are very likely. I have hit long distance target repeatedly that my reticle completely covered.
