A lot of guys kill most of their coyotes whilst deer hunting...

My various .243s have taken more coyotes than I'll ever have the opportunity to catch up with. For 30 years it was virtually all that I ever carried. These days I have so many toys that some barely get used from year to year.

The light handy little H&R/sako .222 is so easy to carry that it sees more than it's share of use. As long as I avoid bone, it's fur friendly on our largish coyotes.
My Model 70 fwt .25-06 is a ball to shoot, but very fur unfriendly with the 75 vmax bullet.
