Just yesterday I was walking a semi hilly area of mixed bean and corn stubble with some small pockets of cover. Took the .222 as it is so carry friendly...

It was dry and noisy walking, and the only coyote I saw was sneaking out nearly a quarter mile ahead of me across a creek bottom pasture.
Lead flew. Coyote lived another day...
