I read these posts and count my blessings that I live in New England. We can drive down a road and park the truck, and unless the property is posted, just go hunting. Private OR state lands, it really doesn't matter. Course, it's always advantageous to seek out the landowner and get permission. I'd probably pay to hunt whitetails somewhere but it would have to be vastly different from what I have here in Maine.
