Can you tell me how much lighter the action you spec'd is vs. the Defiance Rebel action?

Just talked this over with them at length. It's a tough question to answer because the Rebel has so many options. Our action weighs in at about 22oz for the short version. Using a completely "standard" short action as the point of reference, we're saving about half a pound give or take an ounce or two.
