I am going to be starting to collect parts and pieces for a rifle build. Even though I love the Ruger tang safety and have my 280 built on that action I am told it is not a good platform to build on. I would like to know what you people think is a good economical action to start with. My rifle budget will be in the $400 - $500 range, cheaper would be good LOL. The rifle will be a 338-06
