That one certainly does have a very figured fore-end-end. Most No. 1s have very plain fore-ends, even the ones with exhibition level buttstocks.
My 2010 production .300 H&H has very nice wood.
The fore-end has a straight grain and is quite typically plain.
I have a Boddington in .450 NE on its way to me. Looks to have fairly plain wood. I only have the store's stock image of that one:
