GutShotBitch is whining about non-union states paying less to .gov, receiving more .gov funding, and therefore being "stupid".

Let's think about this for a second.

Those states, like TX and FL, are where the population is GROWING and where the economies are GROWING. The .gov funds they get are for roads, schools, and (due to retirees) Medicare and Social Security. Why? Because the growing retiree community earned those SS and MC payments, and because the growing economies and populations need roads and new schools. That's called "investment".

Now, these states also have lower marginal tax rates on their citizens (TX, for example, has no state income tax). Their citizens keep more of their money, and due to the increasing numbers of retirees and children (population growth and retirement areas), growing percentages of that population don't pay any taxes to the feds at all.

If you were a business and you found a way to: grow your economy, grow your workforce, increase the real income to that workforce and their families, increase the amount of investment capital from outside sources, and decrease overhead, you'd be called a genius. If you're a state, and you find ways to: increase your population, grow your economy, increase the real income to your citizens and their families, increase the amount of outside private and public sector investment, and decrease the amount of taxation paid to the federal government, that's just damn smart business sense.

Of course, to a communist like GutShotBitch, that all sounds backwards and ignorant.

Fortunately, he's a fool and that's plain to see.
