Top is 625-4, 5-inch, chambered 45LC. Came with rubber Hogues. Curiously, the general consensus is -4's didn't come in 45LC, so this might be a conversion. Then again, an acquaintance who collects Smiths offered to look it over and concluded it looked factory to him and not to discount the possibility, he'd seen all sorts of rarities over the years, though not this one. So then I emailed S&W the serial # asking the same question, and the reply was "we did make those in 45LC." Who knows. Have shot some silly groups with that gun, though.
Bottom is 625-6 MG chambered 45LC. Came with ACE grips that seem to have never been off the gun. The JM's fit me better and I like that they don't grab under a jacket.
