I had one of those, just like the OP, in 6" it was the most accurate revolver for slow, aimed shooting, I've ever had. Mine liked the classic Lyman 358156 bullet, either very slow, or very fast. It didn't like mid-range loads, at all. WW296 was better than 2400 for heavy loads, and little bits of Bullseye for light loads. The weirdest thing of all was that it shot best with that
gascheck base without the gascheck, at any velocity. I took a pan-sized muley buck with it, several coyotes, and lots of small stuff. Nice gun.
