Doug, Here is a shot of the Arch with the Tamron 15-30mm standing about 30 feet or so away. I did no perspective control on the St. Louis skyline. The detail on the buildings is incredible. 30 seconds on a D-800.
Great photography is not about being in the right place at the right time, it is about putting yourself in the right place at the right time.
