It shoots great. I built it for shooting 100 TTSX's and got it done just before deer season last year. I just threw together some loads with varget and seated the bullet .050" off the lands, added powder until the chrono read 3080 & said that's fast enough to hunt with. Everything went 1/2" or less. I took three deer with it last season. I'll fine tune it a bit more this year now that I have time but really there's no need, no place I deer hunt has shots over 300 yds. It's just a pleasure to shoot, so mild.

I've got a prairie dog hunting trip coming up in a couple of months and am gonna take it out there with some 100 Amax's. I haven't shot any of them yet, that's to do in the next few weeks. I swapped scopes to a 4-14 conquest with turrets and am going to use it to "snoop and poop" over the hills for a walkabout varminter when I get tired of shooting my heavy rifles off the bench. Should be fun.
