What's the weight? Some of those are in the 6# range or less.
If it's one those super light rifles, and a hard kicker to boot, you may have your answer.
Those light, big boomers aren't easy to shoot off a bench. They may be 1/2 MOA but getting that degree of performance may be easier said than done.
Or we could just say it was the scope mounting job...
