Bears are always fun to watch and for the last five years we have had this old guy walk past within a few yards of the house during the first week of July on the way to his favorite fishing hole. And then three weeks later he passes back through on the way up valley.



He was looking pretty old last year




And having bears as your closest neighbors means dressing a little different every time you go out. My wife Rocky had just come in to fix lunch when I snapped this photo
