We have no way of sealing quart jars. The food grade plastic jugs used have caps that seal when bottled up at a temp of 185



I get gallon jugs and divide them up into pint jars. I bring the syrup to a boil for just a moment, then ladle it into a hot jar with a warmed lid. I tip them on their top and let cool. The seal right up in regular mason jars...JME.


That's exactly right,use new lids (seals).
