It does have a million twists in there on looking.
Some of these FN sporters were produced with multiple rifling barrels, similar to Marlin's Micro-Groove rifling.
I have one from Eaton's of Canada, a True-Line Model 100. It has twelve grooves! Not as nice a looking stock as yours, but the thing shoots very, very well, especially with 180 gr bullets. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />
You got yourself a steal of a deal on this one. The action alone is worth much more than what you paid for the rifle.
