For the common guy the BHP is overpriced and there's much less part and accessory support.

One the other hand one can pick up dept trade in glocks for reasonable prices and condition.

Personally I find the glock 17 to fit my larger hands better and I can use it accurately. The glock 23 is also my carry weapon and folks with smaller stature and hands may like this better.

For the average person the glock 23 is perhaps the best choice for size, carry ability, and economics. Its the one that can use 40, 9mm, and 357 Sig conversion.

I can appreciate the BHP for it place in history, but for the dollar spent its difficult to go against the glock. Especially if you can find and nice trade in for an good price.
