Prep Time: 20 minutes
Cook Time: 45 minutes
Container: large casserole dish, saute pan, large mixing bowl
Servings: 12-15

Ingredients
1 cup onion chopped
2 stalks celery chopped
1/2 pound bacon cut into bite sized pieces
1 pound ground beef
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup ketchup
3 tbsp brown mustard (I used Emeril’s, but others work fine)
1/4 cup barbecue sauce - your favorite brand
3 tbsp molasses
1/2 tsp salt (I used Tony’s creole seasoning)
1 tsp fresh ground pepper
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp red pepper flakes
1 tbsp jalapeno pepper jelly (substituted for cranberry sauce;
didn't want to open a new can for 1 tbsp)
1 tbsp hot sauce (I used El Yucateco red habanero)
28 ounces chili beans (2 cans)
28 ounces butter beans (2 cans)
28 ounces pork and beans (2 cans)
14 ounces cannellini beans (1 can)

Directions
• Brown together the onion, celery, bacon, and hamburger.
• In a large bowl, combine the rest of the ingredients.
• Add in the cooked meat, onions, celery mixture.
• Simmer on the stove on low heat for approximately 45 minutes
or bake in a 350° F oven for 40-45 minutes or until bubbly.

I have one friend that eats a huge amount of it when he's here and I always give him a container of it to take home with him. smile
