Anyone done this and want to tell me which rings will fit and allow the bolt to function properly?
I've been through 2 sets of rings and were told by each manufacturer that they'd work, which they didn't....
I called CZ and they told me that only their rings will allow the bolt to function properly and not hit the scope...
Anybody else have this issue but me?

The CZ rings are quite high, they have to be in order for the bolt handle to clear the scope ocular as you know. I am currently using the Leupold mediums, they are only possibly .030" shorter than the CZ rings, and my Bushnell 3200 5x15 just clears the bolt handle. The Leupold VXIII would have slightly more clearance.....

I've got some CZ rings on the way so maybe these will work.....

They will definitely work. Some people don't like the CZ rings, they are heavy but hell for stout. The ones I've had have been very straight as well.
Tried some Burris CZ rings once, big mistake. Had to crank the windage practically to it's limit, and upon lapping them saw that the front ring was tipped back significantly too. The Leupolds are nice, but even pricier than the CZ rings.......

you won't have any problems with fit of the cz rings. they are high and heavy but I have an older bushnell 3000 with a 50mm lens and it fits fine.

Talley makes rings for the CZ527, or so I have seen on the 'net. I am using the CZ rings and there is maybe .25 inch between the ocular bell of a Bushnell elite 4200 3-9x40 and the bolt handle. IF I was to spend the money it would be for the talleys.

The Talley's are the lowest ring made for the CZ that I know of. The CZ factory rings were way too high for my personal taste. If you own a dremel tool it's a pretty easy to modify the bolt so that it will work with a lower mounted scope. Just take the bolt handle off, put it in a vice, take the metal off slowly with a sanding drum until you have adequate clearnace, then buff out the scratches and your good to go. YOu can cold blue it yourself, my smith did it for me for free when he was blueing a batch of barrels.
good luck
