I am looking for a good revolver smith in Alaska. The last action job I had done was great but the fellow has since passed away. Any recommendations on someone who does good action jobs on Smiths and Rugers. Thanks.

I send it to Jack Huntington, he's reasonable and does good work. http://www.jrhadvancedgunsmithing.com/There aren't any revolver smiths I'd trust my guns to in the state.

I had Stan Jackson do trigger jobs on four new Rugers for me before I moved out. Very happy with his work.
My biggest fear is when I die my wife will sell my guns for what I told her they cost.

Andy should be able to do that easy enough. He's pretty good. He did the most of the original Co-Pilot 45/70's so he's pretty capable.

He's moved from the old place off the Old Seward. He's off Lake Otis now near GNG. Has a nice shop in a big detached garage. Usually has some good deals on nice older bolt action hunting rifles in his rack too.
