I really could use some lights on the back of my truck. Been wanting some for a long time. I found these pricey US made Ridgid lights and I was wondering if anyone else splurged for them. They are supposed to throw light almost 100 yards.

Not used those particular lights, but fitted similar to a previous vehicle. I wired mine to a seperate switch on the dash rather than hooking them to the existing reversing light.

The only downside is the temptation to dazzle as***les who drive up your ass with full beam on...Did it one night, and as*****le replied with his "twos and blues" blush

Ha! Yep, that is the plan. A 3-way switch and a relay. Off, On and auto (auto comes on when in reverse gear).

I think that all fat chicks ought to have back up lights and beepers so that we are alerted to get out of their way when they're backing up.

I bought a set of lights from Tracter Supply. Not LED, but then they did not cost an arm and a leg. Work fine.
