I think badgers are awesome. The nicest one I've killed just got done fighting with a skunk and Gruff would not let me put it in his truck because he's an ass hole.
They are thick around here though and landowners expect them to be shot year around. They're absolute hell on roads.

Serious question: have you ever hunted them at night? I guess they're mostly nocturnal and I am bringing a green kill light next time Im on the Hi-line. Where we shoot there are a number of badgers...

Travis is too busy with beer at night to sacrifice any time looking for anything but a coldpack when it is dark...

Where we shoot there are a number of badgers... I never have. I know everybody tells me they are nocturnal but I see them all the time. High noon. Sunset. Early morning. Doesn't seem to matter. Matter of fact, I can't remember the last time I saw one at night. Dave

The stock isn't real pretty and the range is severally limited, but with a little foot work, it works.
Laws aren't preventative measures. In other words, more laws won't prevent gun crime from happening.

Huntsman, I read this post of yours.
"I was his jjhack to do the find him later deal."
Is this is reference to me being an African Professional hunter? Or am I missing something from another topic someplace?
Just Curious.
