Traded into this yesterday. Anyone on here shoot this one. Just trying to gain a little insight before I start wring'n it out. 24", HBAR, detach mag., and accu-trigger. Does not have the new style bedded stock. This is my first Accu-trigger--not sure if I like that "thingy" on the trigger. I have a choice of mounts and glass to use, so thats not an issue. Is their a good 2-stage trigger available for this rifle? The rig will be a dedicated varmint gitter when finished. Thanks

There are other triggers available, but the Accu-Trigger has never bothered me. It does bother some people.
The one thing I normally do with Savage rifles is install Dyna Bore-Coat in the barrel before the first range session, because their barrels can foul quite a bit. Installing DBC immediately prevents the extra work of getting a copper-fouling barrel clean to install it later.

Not being familiar with the Accu-trigger--is it adjustable?
