Looking to upgrade my 10/22 with a new threaded suppressor ready barrel. The two I've been considering are the Tactical Solutions SB-X and the Volquartsen THM. Anyone have any firsthand experience with them?

I have the Volquartsen and like it. It shoots most anything into little groups and ammo it likes into itty bitty groups.
You might also consider a Kidd barrel.

Thanks. Any problems with feeding/ejecting? I've heard the Volquartsens have pretty tight chambers. Yeah, one of the aluminium sleeved Kidds is a possibility. Haven't heard much about their performance either.

almost all if not all of the aftermarket barrels will have Bentz chambers. my green mountain barrel has been good so far in the limited shooting done through it but i have been warned that when these things get dirty that some of the preferred ammo could start to get feeding issues. more so with plain lead bullets opposed to the copper washed stuff.

I haven't had any FTE or FTF with mine, but I haven't gotten it really dirty either. I have heard that though, just haven't experienced it with mine.
I don't have a Kidd barrel yet, but most of my actions are full of KIDD parts and I've been more than satisfied. A couple of friends have Kidd barrels and really like them.

I have Volquartzen, Tacsol and Anchutz. Any one of these is deadly on a squirrel at 50 yards. I shoot suppressors on everything now. You still have to put your time in finding the best ammo for any particular rifle though.
Don't mess with me, I'm too old to fight, too fat to run, so I going to have to kill you.
