Before anyone thinks I know the answer..I don't, sorry, that's why I'm bringing it here. It's being advertised as a Savage, but I don't recognize the bolt lugs and extractor.

Mossberg 800s have a potentially dangerous design flaw. The trigger housing on many, maybe most, Mossberg 800s is plastic and can soften and become distorted if the rifle gets too hot, like if it is left in the rear window rack of a pickup. I know this because it happened to me about 20 years ago.
