223 upper needed. Not picky on twist as long as it's at least nine. Don't need anything special as this is a budget build just to try one. What's the best place to score a complete upper under $300?

Check PSA out they have some 4th July specials now? I saw one for 379.00 so they may have some less expensive ones?

If you need the bolt carrier group, and most do unless they have an extra one laying around, make sure it comes with that. Often, when prices get below 300, it's not included and sometimes it is. Best to be sure.

What would be everyone's choice for a good BCG? I was looking at Bravo Company.

Here's one. Add a BCG group for $100 or less and you're there: http://palmettostatearmory.com/inde...ss-1-7-freedom-upper-without-bcg-ch.html

a bolt carrier and complete bolt can be found for around $100 I was going to say 85 to 200. Depends on what you want and what you can find.
