Leather?? You don't cut the wads out of leather. You cut them out of wax paper with a LEATHER PUNCH.

There is a group on here that learned the secret. Going to be lots of fun learning the passwords. Plan to shoot a lot.
Will have to look towards a buffalo in the future someday. That would be a bucket list item for sure. Thanks to all for putting that want in me.

Told you me hearing wasn't that good. I do have a little extra leather now I feel. Tandy's was nice, they sell whatever you bring up to the counter.

Good luck, have fun making lots of smoke and kill a few critters while you're at it.. Thank you. I have watched you guys for several years do this with a Sharps, going to smoke them out at the Range and in the field. Will take it deer hunting for sure, then maybe a buffalo hunt.

Morning Bill.
Going to work out for sure. I promise. Getting me in a large loud group is where the hearing fails, just too much sound for these old ears. I'm just excited to finally own such a nice rifle. I will do whatever the teacher says. Weaknesses can be cured by such a person.

That is a very nice rifle. We'll get you up and running, no sweat. I can probably use the leather, BTW.

Alright, I'll get the leather to you, just scraps that Tandy sells. Cow and a little deer hide.

I was astonished that the local Gander still had 5 boxes of Federal 215's. So I shamelessly cleaned them out

Great looking rifle, Gordon! We'll have to have a shoot someday soon. I happen to know a place... Bill will take good care of you, for sure. E.T. has gotten a bunch of us afflicted with the "Holy Black Syndrome" and Bill makes sure we have the proper treatment regimen to keep us going. Ed

Thank you Ed, the rifle is nice. Looking forward to a little cooler weather and curing some tech. issues then just loading and shooting. Have the time so might as well use it shooting that fine rifle. Don't think I'll wear it out any time soon.
