Some fruits from the garden.
Leighton, that Interceptor is a cool find. 700? A coworker used to have one in the same paint scheme, unique sound with Kerkers too.

This year I'm going to try some fried green tomatoes for sure. First ones should be ready in a week or two at most. Yours like tasty. Any tricks to the game, or is it pretty straightforward?

I'm no expert at them, but just have to do them each year. Those I s/p'rd, dusted in Ma Se Ca ( the corn flour you make tortillas and sopes with ), fried in butter and oil. Had leftover dredge, so made a sopes and topped with mozzarella and an avocado slice. Was pretty tasty.

Some tasty treats being put up without addresses and times for fine dining. Must be an oversight.

This time of year I try to get out for song birds and flowers. Work had been in the way so the shots are limited

Finished out the weekend with a trip to Girdweed (Girdwood) to check out the Hippy fest (Forest Fair). 'Twas everything I expected.

You got that right, my man.

Continuing to enjoy the pics. Good stuff, y'all!

A funny thing happened yesterday. Took a wrong turn trying to get to a store in NH yesterday and while driving through a small, quiet residential area, drove past a bike with a for sale sign on it. I recognized the machine, a mid-80s Interceptor, and backed up. An hour later it was in my garage. That the paint scheme is red, white and blue and I bought it on the 4th, as well as the fact that the bike wears my family name, well, God bless America. wink

Nice ride, KG. And Congrats on a 4th of July find. Seems very appropriate.

Here's a pic of one exactly like I had back in the early 80's. Only difference, mine had a Kerker 4 into 1, instead of the Vance & Hines.

The Wife and I decided to do a little fishing on the 4th. We were pleasantly surprised to find these guys in our fishing hole.

They say everything happens for a reason.
For me that reason is usually because I've made some bad decisions that I need to pay for.

Granddaughter measured the ice cream ingredients, crushed the crackers for the fish and ate 3 pieces hot out of the pan helping Ugly 'Ol Pappy cook. She was planning on eating all the fish before anyone else got some.

LOL!! Your wee mither nailed it again, Leighton!

Ed, great pics of great eats... can't wait to eat some more of your venny kebabs one of these fine summer days!

Well, here's part of how we spent the Independence Day weekend... here in Bahstahn Hahbah on a local cruiser for dinner & dancing with The Redhead and her youngest son, who at 15 is still growing (6'6" and 315) and a budding future left tackle for the Horned Frogs, his mama fervently hopes.

Damn, Doc!

That is a helluva big 15 year old... I hope that you are not responsible for that guy's groceries!

I hope you had a great 4th of July (and a good Canada day too!).

John
