on a Mauser 98.
1909 Argentina via Germany.
Other then the directions supplied are vague and poorly written. I am having a heck of a time getting this new two position low profile put back in and working.
Have had it reinstalled yet the first time we couldn't get the safety to move.
Second time able to move but it was upside down and can't move the bolt shroud to the correct angle.
Now we are stumped as to what to do.
This is a rifle I bought for my youngest as he is growing from a youth model to a full size rifle. Purchased it after ex and I split and it was meant to be a way for me and my son to get some time together.
At this point the whole dang rig is about to go live on the bottom of the lake.
If someone could point me in a direction of s decent video, or decent written directions I would appreciate it.
Thanks.

Tried there, couldn't get registered for some reason. Haven't been on there in years.
I think we have it figured out now. Supposedly need to do some shaving on the safety latch for it to engage.
At least that's what I am hoping LOL.
Thanks.

Words cannot express my joy at the things that almost get accomplished at the office on the days I'm roadtripping for court ...
Files, polishing block, and dremel will come to work in the morning. Need Jack the Mouse to ensure excellence?
