I just finished putting scales on this Green River Ripper blade. I love these little blades. I've probably done a dozen or more over the years for gifts and I'll probably give this one away too but I swear,,, one of these days I'm going to keep one for myself. The handles are figured Walnut scraps from a friends cabinet shop with five hand rubbed coats of Watco Danish Oil. I have about ten bucks in the knife. They make nice gifts and it's a cheap hobby for a geezer.

Charlie, that is good looking work! Do you take custom orders?

I like it, nice work. With a simple leather belt sheath this would make a sweet EDC.
Enjoy the hunt while it lasts!

Thanks guys. I like it, nice work. With a simple leather belt sheath this would make a sweet EDC. They do indeed. I made a simple sheath for one I sent to a friend in NV last year. He carries it all the time. Looks great, pair that up with the 6" boning & what a little butcher kit ! Done that too. And yes,,,, it's a great combo. Course I don't have to tell you that.

Thanks MM Where are you buying the Russell blades? I usually order them from Jantz Supply. Their prices are good and they sell the other odds and ends needed but there's a few others places that sell them. Track Of The Wolf comes to mind but there are others. Just google Russel Green River blades for sale. BTW,,,,, if anyone's interested in trading the knife posted above for a brick of 36gr Mini Mags let me know. Thanks, Charlie
