I've always been a big fan of '92s and just ran across a Rossi 357 at a very fair price, but it's new enough to have that silly safety on top. Is there a way to dispose of the safety? Other than that, it seems like a pretty decent little rifle.

IIRC, someone makes a peep sight that replaces that safety.

You can buy direct from him, already slicked up. His prices are good and you save shipping back and forth. Steve can make those foreign '92 clones sing. They can be pretty rough out of the box. Ordering a slicked up one direct makes a lot of sense. DF

I checked Steve out, and that's definitely an idea. I'm thinking of enlarging the hole enough to inlay a 357 case head. That would pretty much cover the s & f as well. I'd like to hear what y'all think of the idea.
