Anybody out there have any experience with these? I have a 700 ADL stainless .270 that I'm putting together as a general purpose hunting rifle.I would rather not wait for a mcmillan and there might be one of these in stock. I'm leaving the factory 24" barrel on it and thinking FX-II 6x36 in talley extra lows. Thoughts on the stock? Thoughts on the total package?

I've got one on a Model 70 and think highly of it. The grip tends slightly towards the more vertical side with a small palm swell. The only negative that some find is the floor plate area is a bit square though it's minor and doesn't really bother me.

GAP uses the SL on the Extreme Hunter, works for me. Very comfortable to get behind.
