I bought a Baikal model 94 in 12 ga 6.5 swede OU. What kind of accuracy should I expect. The gun itself is kind of clunky, but doesn't seem to be put together too bad. (Clunky is being kind)

My 7x57R/ 12ga shoots 150gr partitions in less than an inch at 100 yds.

I have the Baikal in 12Ga/.308.Accuracy is very good from the rifle barrel. You are correct about the seemingly "clunky" looking part but they prove themselves and you tend to overlook that or just not see it. I have used it primarily deer and pig hunting for three years now and really like the weapon.

If you have to take a second shot then you probably shouldn't have taken the first shot.

I have a double rifle version, in 9.3x74R. Like the others, I've found the accuracy is no cause for complaint. Each barrel would group about an inch at 100 yards. With a bit of tweaking I have composite groups where the top barrel groups above the bottom barrel, separated by about the distance between the muzzles. While "utilitarian" this rifle has worked very well, and accounted for a number of buffalo and pigs.
FWIW I had a gunsmith fettle the triggers, which improved trigger pulls greatly. I also had the safety changed to non-automatic, which I prefer. Didn't cost much either.
