Miles as we like to see him, in a pain-free interval

Relaxing before supper. Ken Howell arrived mid-morning and stayed until early evening, looking about as chipper as he gets. Mark Lee, deep in thought (or something)

Miles, my heart goes out to you; drive 1000 miles to spend three days in a tent in misery and then 1000 miles back to bad news. Get better and God bless.

A few more--Saturday evening after the rain drove most folks under the big tarp.

Blue and Ken were drilling a steel pig at 170 yds, while Brian was whacking it with one or more of his pistols now and then,
[Linked Image]

Ken decided to try the .405 No. 1
[Linked Image]

The recoil is not that bad...
[Linked Image]

Over under the tarp, lots of serious discussions
[Linked Image]

Sunday morning coffee at Blue's trailer
[Linked Image]

The picture being passed around is of Blue's grand-daughter who had just won the Colorado State Gymnastics Title.

Oh, and a gleaming white Chevy pickup, meticulously washed and waxed, showed up Sunday morning. The sticker on the rear window attracted a LOT of unwanted attention:

[Linked Image]

The rumor was that it was attached sometime during the night by a person or persons unknown, but that sounds a little lame to me...

At The Largo roughly 8 hours prior to Mudhen's pic. For a second I almost felt guilty about putting it there, but then it passed and I laughed my azz off!

Just so everyone knows that "bumper sticker" is actually a vinyl magnet. Peel it off and there is no trace it was ever there.

Well Scott, that sign did leave a mark. Lots of folks in town and up and down the road saw it, but not a one of them honked. They did take very close looks - and photos - of the driver and are putting up warning posters, with photos, from here to Show Low. They don't want that driver associating with any local boy scout troops - just in case he has caught a touch of the malady.

Made it home 1:00 AM Wend. Long drive, Can't tell you all how much my son and me enjoyed our time in N.M. shooting, B.S.-ing, eating, and getting rained on. Thanks to all who worked to put on this event. Oh I got home without the wheels falling off. Rio7
