Typical Holly wierd writers. If they don't know, they make up somthing that sounds right. Why should they have to do any research?

Why do you guys watch that trash, I am serious? I would rather watch reruns of Barny Miller than the new crop of "cop" shows.

I like the original CSI, some interesting drama without over doing it.
I cannot stand CSI Miami though. It is so over blown it is nuts. That red headed guy thinks he's superman or something. And everytime he cocks his head and talks out of the side of his mouth I want to scream! Haven't been able to get into the NY version either. The original is still the best.
But then, it's only TV...

I decided long ago that it was just television, and that half the fun of watching the program was catching their mistakes.

About 10-15 years ago there was a organization(?) that gave away T shirts to anyone who found a mistake in TV shows. Things like the magic glass of wine or the self regenerating cigar. Guess they got run out of business.. gave away to many Ts.

Oh I see, Y'all watch it for T & A, I must be slowing down in my old age! I still can't watch that stuff, too many other ways to be entertained real time instead of on a CRT.

I think I know what all this means. Remember Skeeter's old nemesis, was it Jughead Johnson(?), and the interesting work he did? I've often wondered what became of him. I'll bet he's at it again...

Ya mean there are other reasons to watch TV.??????? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

I like to check out the up and comming actresses!

One of my other favorite shows let me down last week. Cold Cases put out the message that's it's alright to have firearms, ya don't need to own military style guns or MAC-9's. Since they don't believe I should own an AR-15 I don't think I'll watch their show anymore.

Where is William Shatner when you need him. He shoots people. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/help.gif" alt="" />

CSI Dialogue - "41mm armor-piercing bullet, the kind preferred in a compenstated 7.62 pistol."

Boys & girls, I assure you, 99.6 % of the writers in Hollywood, are very, very ignorant of firearms, and haven't the faintest intention of learning anything about them in order to write any accurate portrayal, use, or description of them. They just do not care!

The one thing about the writers (and directors, producers, and most actors) is, they are extremely left wing in their political ideology. It is axiomatic they will misrepresent firearms in any script they write, offering the same ol' Handgun Control mantra "Only police & military should be allowed by Big Brother & Big Nanny to possess firearms."

That's the way it is in Hollywood, so if you watch teeeveee, 99.6% of the time, you'll see nothing about firearms that is not very derogatory.

FWIW.

Leanwolf, I don't doubt you even one little bit. For flavor, though, Jughead might add to the the mix and maybe get a little cash, besides.
