Just to clarify. The ammunition that got mixed up was Jeff's(Owl). It was in a .308 Federal Gold Medal Match box in the bed of Darby's truck. I saw it when I was looking through the stuff Ken was giving away, and when I looked in the box I only saw the empties. I grabbed it for Colin since we are building him a little stash of quality brass to load for his rifle.
As soon as Jeff said what he was looking for, and we realized the mistake Colin grabbed it for him.
Hopefully Jon's bag shows up soon.

Thanks for the follow up Gents. Its greatly appreciated. Last weekend I saw a few coyotes and was unable to get after them bc i didn't have any ammo for my swift!

Donelle closed on a new house today, and she spent the last week packing everything for the move. She is positive that she doesn't have it. I looked again today, as I brought some of her gear home with me because her hitch mounted carrier had some problems. Not here, either. Pretty much has to be at Paul's place.

just for the record... looking thru all the stuff after unpacking, we have nothing that wasn't ours.....
hope she turns up Jon....I doubt anyone in this crowd would have it and not own up to it...
one couldn't have spent the weekend with a better bunch of folks...

Jon, check at Ken's, seems more than one person dropped stuff off that he sent out. It could have gotten mixed in. He will try to look when feeling good enough. If you are going scouting next weekend stop by and help look.

I looked thru my gear. Didn't find the bag.... I did find alotta stuff I misplaced, though. So, thanks I guess. I wasn't at Quemado. But it could've happened.  In all seriousness, I've got some loaded .204 I can give you. Don't have a Swift or .300.

There are only a relatively limited number of people who might have packed it by mistake, so it should show up if everyone looks. The trouble is that there were too many "helpers" in packing up. I now understand why Ben declined help in putting away his gear, as he could mentally check off stuff. All we did for him was help break down his tent. I was there almost to the last, and while I was not focused on what was around, I did not see any unpacked items –– other than a stack of pecan logs that were offered to me, and for which I had no space. Jon, let us know if it shows up. I thought I had a lot of calibers, but as it happens I have no guns in any of the ones you listed.
