Home Forums Hunting & Shooting Winchester Collectors 1886 Winchester 45-90 W.C.F. needs appraised.

I have a friend who was left a Winchester 1886 45-90 W.C.F. (serial no 13xxx) by her late husband. Right now I have zero pictures, but I was told that the rifle is in very good condition, the action is smooth, the barrel bright and the stock very strong. Some years back he had the rifle re-blued by a gunsmith so I know that will reduce the rifles worth. Does anyone know of an appraiser in the Reno area that knows Winchesters that would give her an honest appraisal. She is currently in Alaska but will be returning to Reno sometime in late September.
