The anti-hunter crowd is ruthless. They will use anything including total deception. As a victim of "Anonymous", I can tell you that there is nothing much that you can do, other count on the fact that decent people know that you are the victim of lying criminals. This. Seems the Anti's hacked the website of my friend and South African Outfitter and pulled out photos labeled "Hatari family safari". They then searched Facebook, found my business site, and plastered the photos with the usually nasty comments.
The rhetoric they use would make a communist commissar smile with pride at the level of indoctrination they have achieved.
They found my home phone number through a simple search. I have disabled the Facebook and the landline. Going to need to clean up YELP and all of that.
Cyberbullying. This is now a new tool in the 21st Century. They have just learned a new way to attack their enemies and I'm sure gun owners are next. These people have stumbled upon a new tactic. Sorry that you're going through that. Anonymous cyberbullying. You deserve compensation. Looks like a fertile area for some attorney(-ies).

I don't see enough good, and I've seen a lot of bad, about Facebook.
That about wraps it up for me too. I managed to live 63 years without it...I think I'll try for a little longer.

I do work for a local Democratic State Senator. He assists and I give him valuable guidance during his project each year, and make it known that all profit from his aircraft annual go into my gun safe and ammo stash.
I will work on him about such punitive laws, he may get it.

I have forgone my FB. Never had anything good come of it, really. There are lots of instances where people meaning you harm go there, and get what they want, though... This. No facebook, no problems. Never saw the use of facebook anyway. BUT its not right what they are doing regardless.' Social media crap should be called Socialist Media...

You might want to file a police report. If the perp is ever caught it would give you grounds for recovering damages.

I'd recommend any photos you have of clients stay nameless. This. I've been circumspect about posting ANY personal photos or hunting stories anywhere on FB. The site is notorious for abuse. The owner and operators of FB are left-libs, and they apply their "integrity" filters with obvious bias much of the time. FWIW, I wouldn't bother to report any of this to any "authorities". They can't do jackschidt, even if they had Clue One about how to find these scum. If you want anything approximating justice, you'll need to hire your own hackers and find out who the perps were/are and hit them hard where they live (i.e., in their hard drives in their mom's basements).

Social media and the internet are a bane to any group with limited resources to pose a significant inconvenience and threat to your existence.
I'd close all the social stuff down and wait 6 months. With good comes the bad as always.

There's little value to face book for the Hunter. One should never post personal information on line to include pics of children family, spouse, home or hobbies or pastimes.
Good luck with trying to get anyone to help with any problems.
Beware of thieves, scammers and dishonest members on the "Fire" classifieds. Ya there is a thief here too. Whatever!!

I can't find one good reason to start up an account.

I have to agree with others: dump (F)agbook, it's for cheating wives and hipster/millennial dooshes as well as being a source of income for open-border schitthead Mark Zuckerberg. You can post your hunting pics here or on other hunting forums. You still have e-mail to communicate with other people/family.
