290 views and only one person (whom I appreciate greatly) has offered an opinion? I'll offer an opinion! I like(d) Dennis, and by extension his lovely bride, a lot. My dealings with U7-08, however lead me to believe he's a liar and fraud at worst, and a real dick at best! It doesn't surprise me he doesn't know the origin of the rifle and/or extra parts. That seems to be his MO! Don't get me wrong, I'll donate $100 cash to Dennis' care if that's where it's going, but someone with a LOT more credibility needs to contact me to facilitate it.

I've done business with Utah 708 and he's been a gentleman and true to his word. It's not uncommon, that if someone asks you to sell something for him so his wife can have the money for him not to know. I respect the hell out of him, because he didn't just try to sell someone a bill of goods, but actually tried to find out the prominence of the gun. Too many people "wing it" and he didn't. I think that speaks a lot for his character and I'm good with that. With only 700 posts I'm not sure you have the history here to make that comment, and he's been around a long time and this has never come up. I think you owe him an apology. He's got a LOT more history here than you, so someone else would have said something by now.

You might want to start your own charitable thread. IMHO, u7o8 SUCKS! Dennis would likely benefit from the actions of his friends with less questionable reputations.

I bought a complete barreled action model 70 stainless from utah708 and it was a very smooth transaction.. I would have no issues doing business with him again..
