Also looks like they don't actually make 45 caliber maxiballs at T/C any more. When they did, you could also get 320 gr. I suppose you could find a mold somewhere though.
That said, while I used to use them and got decent performance, there are some good bullets out there that you don't have to put all that nasty bore butter in. They don't travel well in a hot car with all that grease.

The last time I saw any for sale, they were about $20, which is the usual price for a Lee REAL mold.
What fresh Hell is this?

I killed a lot of deer with the Lee REAL bullets in a .50 cal. They were very accurate and much easier to load than the T/C Maxi balls.

I bought a T/C Maxi ball mold with a .45 Seneca in '74. It was 220 grains. They later made longer (heavier) versions. The ones Track of the Wolf sells are 245 grain.
