any of you Minnesota guys know of a good spot for dove hunting,or the early goose season? I see doves all the time, but not where they could be hunted. daily limit,15,possesion limit 45 Same for canadas, they call them "sky carp" around here. special early season limit is ten a day,no possession limit.
Tom, So sorry to read of your FIL's passing. He sounds like a great guy. I sent one skyward for you and your family.
I attended an extremely sad and emotional funeral of a family friend and hero on Thursday. This was the kind of kid who had a huge smile on his face at all times. Full of life and energy.
Brady was in Afghanistan with Bravo Company 2-4 Infantry 4th Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division. He lived through some wicked stuff over there.
Members of his team were in attendance and they did full military honors. When they did the "last roll call" they all said present and then called Brady's name 3 times to silence. There wasn't a dry eye in the place.
The team members told his family that they wouldn't be alive if it wasn't for Brady. Seems they were pinned down by the Taliban, out of ammo and expecting to die any minute when Brady (who wasn't with them) came storming over the hill with an AK-47 and started mowing down the Taliban. The ones he didn't get all took off running.
Sadly, PTSD caused him to take his own life the Thursday before last in his home. He was only 27 years old and married with no children. He was the 5th of his division to take his own life after returning home.
A few prayers for his family would be appreciated.

There sure are a lot of America haters that want to live here...
