Sadly, PTSD caused him to take his own life the Thursday before last in his home. He was only 27 years old and married with no children. He was the 5th of his division to take his own life after returning home.  A few prayers for his family would be appreciated. Sent. And it is happening too often. Waaaaay too often.

I got two of each puck style. The R and the ones that actually say Rush on them.
Which style do you want two of, as I am cool with keeping either style for my puck-opener collection.

No hunting yet, just tags arrived & kick fired my desire !
Archery starts September 5th, I think ?
Rifle season October 31st.
The heat will dictate how soon we'll start with the crossbow.
As dedicated meat hunters, I'd rather be able to hang for a week, & process at my leisure, than a right the heck now situation !!
Normally, temps should be good enough around Canadian Thanks Giving weekend. This year, that'll be 10,11 & 12 October.
That'll give us 2 full weeks before things start going "bang" everywhere.

I almost got run over by some stupid pronghorn antelopes at Custer. I am pretty sure they were laughing at me and thinking "that guy looks like he hunts, let's tease him and go really close to him, so if he's ever hunting he remembers how close we got when he was at the park and not hunting"
And, for you turkey hunters, I have a herd of them (17 yesterday with 2 toms, moms and little ones) in my freaking back yard. All I catch is ticks lately when I am hunting them though.....

I'm sure I'd have drawn a BH tag already if I applied for it instead of PP's for that area. I was hoping to draw by you one year, then use the BH tag the next to have 2 years in a row there. I'm just over anxious to hunt there....been on my list since I was 12.

in WY I saw thousands of them. Some large bucks right next to the road. I'm sure if I was hunting them, I'd not see one.
