I'm going to be selling my Marlin 1895-GS, 45-70 Guide Gun.
NIB, Stainless, Non-Ported, JM Stamp, Mfg. North Haven Ct.
[Serial # 980334XX]

I would appreciate knowing what it may be worth.
So far, I'm being offered more than what a friend say's he can get a new one for.

Edit: Oops! I saw the '336-Y Value' thread and posted here without thinking.
But I also do have a NIB, JM Stamp, North Haven, 336-Y that I also will have to divest.
- Value?

With that serial number your rifle was made in 2002, I think. It's worth more than a new one.
Value is very geographically impacted. Around here it would probably sell in the $550- $700 area. (For the 1895).

Can't say anything about the Y.
