I have a couple of Griffin & Howe mounts that the aluminum parts are showing some wear. The finish definately does not look like anodizing rather it looks like powder coating. Has anyone refinished a G&H mount and what did you use?

Assuming it's the mount and not the base. (I never saw an Al G&H base.) I think they were given a high polish and anodized, but that is a guess on my part.

I have a side mount Paul Jaeger set for 1903/03A3 Springfields from the 1950s and it too is anodized.
